I purchased a Double Horse 9100 Hoover about 2 months ago and enjoy it. This new Double Horse 9104 is the "large brother" of that heli and is just as enjoyable,the only distinction is that you have to have WAY Much more space to fly the 9104 than the 9100. The 9104 is nearly 10" longer than the 9100 and significantly more rapidly. As far as overall performance the two are practically the similar.They each have identical flight characteristics and tendencies. The only reason I bought this chooper is for the challenge of flying a larger quicker chopper with out the danger of a big investment(at $75 this issue is a bargain). If you are an intermidate to advance flier this heli should be no dilemma to fly(soon after some swashplate adjustment). But if you have never flown prior to I would NOT recomend beginning with this 1. It's far to rapid and the controls are way to sensitive for a initial time flier or a beginner.

Purchased this helicopter for my son's 14th birthday. Following initially trimming it so it could hover nicely, he has begun to understand how to fly it. It has crashed several instances and I'm amazed how sturdy the factor is- not to say it's indestructible, but it seems to be incredibly nicely built. We try to fly it in the morning, or late evening when it is calm outside. Like all RC helicopters, any wind or breeze will make it challenging to maneuver. I think the larger size assists in this department, but it does not eradicate the trouble. Prior to ordering it, I checked a few RC hobby web sites and discovered replacement components are readily out there in case you do crash it and break it.
