Consumer Evaluations
Outstanding small RC helicopter to fly indoors (does not perform nicely outside).
LED lights are especially cool to watch.
You need to have a small coordination to use the remote when flying.
Trying to control the UP/DOWN Left/Proper Forward/Reverse etc. at the exact same time is not as hassle-free as I believed. Soon after numerous practice flights, it becomes much easier and a lot of Entertaining
If yours stop operating, and the bottom blades quit spinning....
Don't THROW AWAY... its still decent.
The very same issue happened to me, crashing into walls and objects, I believed all was lost, and the helicopter was "finished".
You just want to uncover the little gear that came off, mine was stuck below the nose piece.
The impact and torque from the crashes triggered the tiny gear for the bottom set of blades "B", to slip off the shaft of the little motor, or mis-aligned from touching the Major sprocket gear. Take the helicopter apart, find the gear, and slip the small gear back into place.
See Youtube video, this was genuinely useful (search - "how to repair 339 helicopter").
Make confident you maintain all the little screws in the correct order and make certain everything is put back together the similar way you took it apart.
Excellent Luck and happy flying!
I've only flown this 1 a couple of times, but it seems very fantastic. And I say this soon after having attempted 7 other models. I like Viefly models given that they are especially durable, and do not tend to break effortlessly...being that, they are lighter plastic units, but also for the reason that they seem to be built well. And they are simple and easy to manage. But they (like just about all plastic heli's) tend to shoot-up and hit the ceiling when 1st launched right after a 'full charge' simply because they are so light weight. So, I decided to attempt this metal Viefly, and so far so superior. It does tend to hit the ceiling 'sometimes' upon take-off (just just after a complete charge), so I have to be just a small pre-emptive in de-throttling the controller just right after a full power take-off. But if I'm just a little careful, I can stay clear of that...which I cannot consistently keep away from on most plastic models. And this unit's flight characteristics are good, with great straight forward motion, and only a minimum want to adjust the trim from time to time. But I'll report back later as I test it much more, and let you know about durability and flight duration time. The ideal portion is that it isn't More than-RESPONSIVE (such as when offered a slight command to turn it is nose 'a bit left'... it doesn't go 'way as well far' left, and so on. like on other models...some even commence turning in a complete counterclockwise circle when given just a small command to turn its nose 'left'). By the way, the webpage does not mention this, but it does come with a USB connector cord. As I mentioned, I'll report back a lot more as I fly it far more, but so far its a single of the most stable, durable units I've flown. I've had one more one which was even alot more stable than this one, but that one particular was so poorly constructed, the gear that turns the lower rotor fell off the motor shaft with just a single bump into my cushioend couch arm. So, I'd take durability more than slightly far better flight characteristics anyday. At least, the unit will 'last' way more than one particular day.
