Consumer Evaluations

Very first to address some of the comments from other reviewers... For the guy who stated there is no yaw trim adjustment on the TX - check out the tiny thumbwheel on the right side of the TX, there is your trim adjustment. For the guy who could not charge from pc USB, mine charges just fine using the USB cable that came with the S110g.
I have 4 other Syma 3-ch helicopters, the S107g, S108g, S111g, and the S026g. All flew superb ideal out of the box. Not so with the S110g. Initial flight the helicopter took off, I conveniently trimmed out the yaw, and it flew for a couple of seconds just before exhibiting a poor case of TBE (toilet bowl effect). It smashed into the wall and 2 components came off. At first I could not tell where the parts came from but they had been the covers for the LED lights and just snapped back into spot no problem. TBE is NOT when the helicopter rotates about the primary rotor axis, that is yaw and that is what the trim manage takes care of. TBE is when the helicopter swirls around in a massive circle like it is becoming flushed down the toilet though trying to hover. A tiny internet looking revealed the achievable causes - either a binding flybar or binding upper rotor hub hinges on hinged-blade machines like the Symas. My flybar wasn't binding and the hinges seemed OK, but as an experiment I applied a jeweler's screwdriver to cautiously loosen the upper blade mounting screws by 1/four turn, just in case they were a small tight. Couldn't hurt. Then went for a test flight and the TBE was completely cured! Now it flies absolutely stable and is as responsive as any of its larger brothers.
So aside from the small TBE situation that was very easily fixed (and by fixing it I learned a lot about how these little guys function) it is a cool tiny helicopter and amazingly compact.

I bought the Heli for $18.45 and its a fantastic deal. It charges really speedy and flies incredibly stable. It goes forward and back particularly easily. The heli is pretty smaller but very powerful. Its also educational considering that I learned how helicopters perform! The Wings are pretty powerful and the lights it shoots out are cool. The Heli is metal with plastic on it but the plastic is pretty strong. The Remote has no spring so don't forget to pull down when your landing! It has Gyro which indicates it auto - stablizes itself. My other heli, Syma s012 lasted for four days. I feel this heli will final with me forever!
