Stay clear of this charger at all expense, as yet another reviewer said, it is unquestionably wired incorrectly. When I inserted the charger into the helicopter, the blades started to spin even though the helicopter was in the off position. I then smelled smoke....coming from my laptop or computer. This lovely little charger shorted out two of my USB ports on my laptop or computer leaving a beautiful burnt smell. Be aware DO NOT Acquire Stars

I am disappointed, this item fits my RC helicopter, it glows to show it is charging, but the helicopter does not charge. the seller was prompt and courteous and the item was received rapidly. I believed it was a challenge with my usb port and attempted it in three diff slots on my laptop and desktop and even a wall charger. I was not in a position to get my helicopter to charge with this cable.
In hind-sight, I would take into account a tough-wired wall charger as an alternative of this item.
