I like this helicopter. It has accurate three axis proportional control. It is durable: it has likely crashed 200 times in the ten hours I've flown it and it is nevertheless in new condition. It can be flown indoors: in all those crashes I haven't broken something yet.
Details: it is pretty small and light apparently it won't tolerate a breeze outdoors. The controller takes four AA batteries. The controller plugs into the helicopter to charge it. You get about five to ten minutes of flying time for 10 to 20 minutes of charging time.
Downsides: it takes a even though to discover to control it. Right after ten hours I am just now able to fly with only a couple of crashes per flight.
Buyer advisory: only purchase RC toys that have proportional manage (little input/ little outcome, big input/ big result). RC toys that are not proportional are no fun, even for youngsters, for the reason that you can't develop skill.
